A Virtual Retreat
September 18 - 20, 2023
Are you ready to move beyond the pain of grief?
Join us in a FREE 3-day event designed to help you as you grieve the loss of a loved one.
No matter how bad your heart is broken,
the world doesn't stop for your grief.
Nothing can compare to
the emptiness you are feeling.
Everyone can master grief
except for he or she that has it.
The person you want to talk to about how
you feel is the person who is no longer here.
Hold on to memories & connections with your person because love is stronger than death.
Connect with others who are further along in their grief journey to see proof that grief and joy can coexist.
Feel connected with your loved one in times of peace, not only in times of sadness.
Find resources that can help you find YOUR way through your UNIQUE grief journey.

Life Story Coach and Founder of Celebrate Legacy
When I was 16 years old, my whole world shifted when my 15-year-old half sister died. We weren’t really close because of the strained relationship we both had with our dad, but since we were young - we thought we had the rest of our lives to bond and connect through the freedom adulthood would surely bring.
I carried my grief in silence because no one around me could quite relate to what I was experiencing. It wasn’t until last year, over 15 years later, that I had the very first conversation with my step-mom about what happened, how she’s been managing since it happened and how we can support each other over the loss of Sharayna.
I realized that there is such an awkward silence around the topic of grief. Often we don’t know what to do or what to say or we try to avoid it altogether.
That's exactly why I put together the Gone Too Soon Retreat last year and why I am working with The Grief School this year to present The Life After Loss Virtual Retreat for you.
Grief Specialist and Founder of The Grief School
Sharon is a certified Life Coach and credentialed Grief Specialist. She studied the science of grief and healing for over 17 years.
Sadly, the topic of grief is a subject most people are not comfortable with. Yet, it is one of the few things that will affect every woman in her lifetime.
We want to do the right thing and heal. But doing the right thing is exhausting and we get stuck in the pain. Sharon teaches women who are grieving how to process their thoughts and emotions.
Sharon knows that your life will be forever changed, but healing your heart is possible. She is not only your instructor – she is also a griever. She knows that feeling of a knife being stabbed clear through your soul. She remembers what’s it’s like to not want to get out of bed. She was the queen of drinking wine to stop the pain.
The number one thing she knows for sure is that grief and pain are inevitable parts of living here on earth. Making the decision to get help was a conscious decision that she will never regret.
The Life After Loss Virtual Retreat is a 3-DAY Event that takes place from Monday, September 18th until Wednesday, September 20th with instructional videos and interactive events to choose from each day.
The Life After Loss Retreat is completely online! We understand that grief is complicated. So, we encourage you to watch from the comfort of your own home or anywhere you feel safe to process your raw emotions.
Most presentations will last 15-20 minutes and include reminders of key take-aways and how to take action. You and many others who are grieving will have free access to each video for 24 hours.
Join a private Facebook group where you can reflect and ask questions, be awarded with gifts, chat with the speakers, and connect with others who are also in the process of grieving their person(s).
After registering, you will have the opportunity to upgrade your ticket to the Legacy Level ALL-ACCESS Pass which gives permanent access to all of the presentations and replays to the LIVE Sessions.
Since the resources are only free for a 24 hour period, this upgrade gives you the opportunity to watch at your own pace and refer back to the workshops at a time that feels right for you.
We are dedicated to helping you to rediscover yourself in a way that feels meaningful. Take notice of any mention of the Forever Changed Program which will be explained little by little throughout the event.
On the final day, one unsuspecting (and engaged!) attendee will win a full scholarship and have instant access to resources that will change the grieving experience as you know it. Stay tuned for details and how you can apply!
The short answer is yes. There are a lot of offerings out there for people who are grieving, but this one has been created specifically for those experiencing prolonged grief - the physical death of someone you've loved and a loss that you will carry with you for the rest of your life. Some of the coping strategies and support efforts may be beneficial in recovering from a loss of your freedom, a relationship, a job, your security, etc.
This event is completely online. The main portion of the retreat runs from September 18-20, 2023. We'll begin with a live-streamed welcome call on September 17th - the day before the retreat starts.
The Facebook community will be available right when you get your ticket!
All of the presentations are pre-recorded and will be released at the scheduled time. The speakers will be available according to the schedule and on the day their workshop is released!
Each presentation will be available for FREE for 24-hours. However, you can upgrade to Legacy Level to get permanent access to all of the videos, as well as a Celebrate Legacy Journal with worksheets, and other bonuses provided by speakers and affiliates!
Althought most of the speakers are grief specialists and mental health service providers, all of the information provided in this event is for educational purposes and not intended to be specific/personal advice for the purpose of treatment.
Only the speakers whose freebies or bonuses you choose to download will get your email address. You’re in complete control of who will receive your email. Learn more in our Privacy Policy.
No problem! Send an email over to [email protected] and we'll get back to you within 24 hours.
